Tips for Cleaning Windows and Mirrors Residents Can Use in Their PepperTree Apartments by The Villages, FL
PepperTree Apartment Homes have numerous features that make our residents enjoy living in them, including sit-down vanities in the bathrooms and glass-top stoves. If residents would like to keep their apartments enjoyable and clean, they should intermittently clean their glass surfaces, such as the mirrors, stovetop, and the insides of the windows. Sometimes this can prove to be a tedious chore, and when done improperly there can be streaks left behind which can make the glass look even worse. Here are some tips on cleaning the glass surfaces inside our apartments:
-
Do not use soap on glass. While soap is fine for surfaces such as countertops, it will leave behind a noticeable, streaky residue on glass. Instead, use vinegar mixed with distilled water or a store-bought glass cleaner.
-
Use a microfiber cloth or squeegee instead of paper towels. Paper towels tend to leave behind lint streaks, and will not absorb the cleaner as well as cloths.
-
Even if you follow the above tips, you might still see a few streaks, so it is helpful to do a final buff with a dry cloth or towel to completely remove any lasting residue.
