This popular dish is not only delicious, it’s also an excellent way to use bananas that are starting to turn brown, in fact many people recommend using slightly overripe bananas for this dish.

Here are the steps to making banana bread in your PepperTree apartment home:

  • Ingredients

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour

    • 1 teaspoon baking soda

    • ¼ teaspoon salt

    • ½ cup butter

    • ¾ cup brown sugar

    • 2 eggs, beaten

    • 2 - 3 mashed, overripe bananas

  • Directions

    • Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    • Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan

    • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl

    • Cream together butter and brown sugar in a separate bowl, then add eggs and mashed bananas
